Here is an excerpt of Christine Caine's message last Sunday to Fellowship Church. This is the motivation God gave me to follow His will to Africa. I hope you are as inspired as I am!

"One out of one people die. That is an outstanding statistic. That is what the reality is. Somehow we think we can avoid the inevitable and we create this nirvana here on earth, but God is saying 'no no no I did not come to make life safe.' Safety is not the goal of Christianity. James 4: 13-14 says that our lives are but a vapor that appears for a little bit of time then vanishes away. All of our stress, all of our anxiety, all of the things happening in the world today-- there is so much insecurity and fear that permeates our world... but the Bible says that all of it is really just a vapor. Worrying about how much money I'm going to make or houses I'm going to have--- it's all a vapor. And we all get so stressed and yet we lose sight of eternity and get caught up in how we are wanting to be safe and comfortable. It is all just a vapor. All across the earth christ is saying 'Church, WAKE UP!' You and I are not a product of time. We are a product of eternity. Ephesians says we are God's workmanship saying we are created for good works that God prepared beforehand-- in eternity-- and that we should walk in them. When God looked at Dallas, TX 2010, He saw the instability, pain, injustice, and anguish on the earth, and he looked at all of the people that he had created through all of eternity. He saw YOU, and He thought 'the best person for me to plant in that church, in that city, at that time, out of all His creation in eternity is YOU.' So He plucked you out of eternity, and positioned you in time, giving you gifts and talents that you can use in your generation. Nothing is an accident in God. He has been preparing those good works in eternity way before we ever got here. There is more to life than just what house are we going to have, let's all just do our little Christian routine... I go to church, listen to the sermon, go to brunch... He didn't come so we could do our nice comfortable routine and lifestyle. He came so we could fulfill the works He established for you and me beforehand. Somehow we have replaced this life God has for us with the safe life we have created for ourselves. Somehow we have told ourselves it's okay not to take risks. But God has a job for us to do on earth. The whole purpose of life is not to arrive at death safely."
